Sam Marin is an American voice actor and animator, known for voicing Benson, Pops, and Mitch "Muscle Man" Sorenstein on the adult animated sitcom Regular Show. He voiced Clarence in the Adventure Time episode "Ghost Princess" he voiced Teenage Bear in the episode "Storytelling" and voiced Gareth in the episode "One Last Job". Other then his work on Regular Show Marin voiced characters on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack which J.G. Quintel also worked on.
Early life and careerEdit
Marin first met J.G. Quintel when he attended CalArts, being in the same class together, and then both becoming friends. He would always help Quintel out on his student films, including The Naive Man from Lolliland and 2 in the AM PM, in which he voiced characters, starting his voice acting career. He later graduated from CalArts, and had a job at the Walt Disney Animation Studios as an animator, where he worked for three years before Regular Show was greenlit, Marin then left Disney to work for Cartoon Network.
Marin said in an interview if he would like to create something of his own, he said something superhero related: "I'd want to do a super-hero show. Working on a comic book would be cool. Like Spider-Man. I really like Spider-Man and Batman, and I think it'd be fun to play those characters. Actually, animated Harry Potter. I changed my answer." His favorite Regular Show episode is "Eggscellent" and his favorite voice to do on the show is Pops.
Marin lives in an unknown location, drawing in his freetime.
